They had better not be hasty. After days of silence, the Chinese media said today that Sino-Indian military ties won't be "compromised" by such incidents. Rong Ying, deputy director of the China Institute of International Studies, was quoted by China Daily as saying, "The relations and trust between the two countries are very powerful."
