28 November 2008: What should India's priority be after the Bombay terrorist attack? Publicize our tragedy to win foreign sympathy, and perhaps some grudging support from the West? Or capture or eliminate the terrorists, and quietly, unsentimentally, set out to destroy the masterminds of this attack, and the associated networks? The United States, Russia, China, the UK and Israel would go the second way. On the other hand, forty-three hours - at this writing - after the terrorists came from the sea, most likely from Pakistan, the battle against them is not over. And prime minister Manmohan Singh has taken the giant misstep of asking over Pakistan's ISI chief to assist in the attack investigations.
