New York, 10 December 2010: Important as it is to appreciate India's decision to attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony for the Chinese dissident, Liu Xiabo, its consequences in terms of blown Sino-Indian relations must be fully understood. China will never forgive India for this decision. This decision will probably count as the second Dalai Lama moment for India, as it will shortly be explained why, and the country must prepare for the worst, despite probably some last-ditch attempts at saccharine diplomacy by the visiting Chinese premier, Wen Jiabao, next week.
